DWSII QHSE

CORPORATE QHSE POLICY

 

Our first priority is the personal health and safety of all our workers and subcontractors.  The management of DWS International Inc. (DWSII) is committed to provide a safe work place, safety training, and guidance for all personnel engaged in any area of our operations. Our objective is to provide a comprehensive program which incorporates a health program to improve the health and performance of each employee; a safety program that will minimize illnesses, injuries, disabling or otherwise and a workplace which promotes a positive teaming relationship amongst employees and quality products and services for our customers. The success of our QHSE program is dependent upon the participation of all employees from management down.  It is our combined goal to surpass industry standards. DWSII accepts the responsibility for leadership in achieving these goals in all field operations and our facilities as well.

Our QHSE program will:

  • Ensure that all employees and subcontractors are properly trained and utilize good safety and environmental practices.
  • Provide and require the use of personnel protective equipment by all workers in positions where such is necessary.
  • Utilize reviews, audits, drills and safety inspections to detect and eliminate any health or safety hazards or unsafe practices.
  • Provide thorough reporting and investigation into all accidents and incidents to determine the basic and underlying causes and correct any problems that are spotted.
  • Instruct all employees that they are responsible for developing attitudes toward quality, health, safety and the environment which encourage compliance and ensure that all operations are performed with regard to personal safety first.
  • Require contractors and subcontractors to comply with the rules and regulations of our safety program and provide full cooperation while performing their required duties
  • Establish an ongoing safety training and education program for all personnel.
  • Be receptive to new safety technology and procedures. New equipment and or procedures will be assessed and if suitable incorporated into our safety program.
  • Provide and assure direction to all employees through policies, safety meetings, training and other types of communication.
  • Include the management’s periodic review and evaluation of DWSII’s QHSE program through a system of ongoing internal and external audits.
